Good value, minor snag

I recently bought a large bag of peanuts for birds and a hanging bird feeder. The quality of the peanuts was excellent, and the feeder felt sturdy for the price. Delivery took about 5 days, which was fine, but the tracking info wasn't super detailed until the day before it arrived. It would be good if that updated a bit more regularly. Overall, a good experience and my feathered friends are happy.

Birds loved the food

Just got some mixed wild bird seed and suet fat balls from here. My garden birds went crazy for it, especially the fat balls. It all came pretty fast, like 3 days, and was packed well. Super easy to order on their site too, which was nice.

Consistent quality, fast delivery

I've ordered from Happybeaks a few times now, and they're always reliable. This time I got a big bag of sunflower hearts, and it was the same great quality as before. Shipping was quick, got to me in about 4 days. It's why I keep coming back for my bird food needs.

Detailed delivery and product thoughts

I placed an order for a 20kg bag of black sunflower seeds and a new squirrel proof bird feeder. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and quick. I received an email confirmation right away. The delivery took 6 days to reach me in rural Pennsylvania, which was within their estimated timeframe for international shipping. Everything arrived in one piece, well-packaged, and the seed bag was intact – no leaks. The squirrel-proof feeder, a metal cage design, was easy to assemble and has actually kept the squirrels out so far, which is a win. The birds, especially the finches, are loving the sunflower seeds. I also had a question about storing the large bag of seeds, so I used their contact form; customer service replied within 24 hours with helpful advice. Solid purchase.

What's the deal with discount codes? Can I stack a first-order discount with, say, a free delivery code?

R Raj 2 months ago
Nah, most places only let you use one code per order. Happy Beaks is usually like that too, I think.

Unlikely. Never been able to stack codes on their site. Gotta pick the best one.

Hey guys, thinking of ordering a big bag of sunflower hearts. Does Happy Beaks deliver to the US, specifically California?

R Rachel Foster 1 month ago
Nah, they're a UK company. Shipping from there to California for bird food would be insane anyway.

Pretty sure they're UK only. You'd have to find a local supplier for that.

Got a massive bag of seed last time, how do you guys store it to keep it fresh for ages?

O Omar Romero 2 months ago
Airtight containers are key. I use those big plastic bins with a lid, keeps mice out too.

Cool, dry place. I just leave it in the bag inside a metal bin in the garage. Lasts ages.

Are these guys legit? Like, real bird food company or some dropshipper?

B Ben C. 2 months ago
Totally legit. Been around for ages. They specialize in bird stuff.

Yeah, they're a proper UK company. Not some random online store.

Thinking of getting a feeder, how do their squirrel proof ones compare to the RSPB shop ones?

E Elena F. 2 months ago
I've got a couple of their squirrel-proof feeders, and they actually work pretty well. Squirrels still try but usually give up.

Happy Beaks' squirrel proof stuff is decent. Had one for over a year, keeps the squirrels out for the most part. Can't speak for RSPB's though.
